About Me
I’m Umme Salma Syed, a leadership and learning development professional with an MBA and experience across Training & Development, Human Resources, People Management, and Client Engagement. I’ve worked with diverse teams and organisations across industries and cultures, which has shaped a deep understanding of how people learn, lead, and perform at work. Over the years, one belief has consistently guided my approach: successful organisations are built by people – not processes or policies. While systems and structures matter, real progress happens when individuals are self-aware, emotionally intelligent, and equipped to navigate human dynamics at work. My work focuses on leadership development, emotional intelligence, and workplace behaviour. I design learning experiences that are practical, human, and grounded in real workplace challenges. I care deeply about creating learning that managers and professionals can apply immediately. I believe learning should be simple, relatable, and actionable. Development, to me, isn’t about information or checklists; it’s about meaningful change in how people think, communicate, and lead. Whether through training, writing, or future learning programmes, my aim is to help individuals and organisations grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
